The Cardinal Residential Experience
Living on campus can be one of the most beneficial aspects of a student's college years. The opportunity to live and interact with other students will open a broad range of experiences and encourage students to become positive contributing members of their communities. As a staff of professionals in student affairs, Residence Life is committed to the following:
|
Self. Spirituality. Society. Scholarship. Guided by the Catholic tradition, students will be provided with opportunities to develop self-awareness, establish a commitment to social responsibility, and cultivate a passion for learning through living cooperatively and engaging in opportunities to learn and apply life skills. |
The Cardinal Residential Experience has five learning outcomes which are the skills, knowledge, or competencies that a student will have the opportunity to learn while living on campus. When students leave CUA's residential community, they should have had the opportunity to:
-
develop self-awareness
-
establish a committment to social responsibility
-
cultivate a passion for learning
-
live cooperatively
-
learn and apply life skills
