Office Manager and Assistant Area Coordinator Positions

Residence Life will be hiring students for the 2008-2009 academic year for the following positions. The hiring process will take place during April 2008. Please see below for details.

The Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC) is responsible for assisting the Area Coordinator in administering a residential program ina neighborhood housing approximately 600 students. This ten-month position includes primarily administrative, managerial, and educational functions that are performed to provide an environment conducive to good scholarship, intellectual stimulation, and social development. Working 19 hours per week, the AAC responsibilities will be in the Centennial Village Neighborhood. (1 position)

The Office Manager (OM) is responsible for assisting the Area Coordinator (AC) in administering a residential program in a complex housing unit of 200-600 students. This ten-month position includes management of the administrative and educational functions of the operation of the Residence Hall Office (RHO). The OM assists the Area Coordinator with the functional supervision of Office Assistants (OA) and in the completion of administrative duties. (5 positions)

Office Assistant and Hall Security Assistant Positions

Residence Life will need students to fill Office Assistant and Hall Security Assistant positions during the 2008-2009 academic year. Positions are available for work-study and non work-study students. If you are interested in being part of the Residence Life team during 2008-2009, please contact Brad Troy at troy@cua.edu to express your interest. Residence Life will begin communicating with students during the summer months to discuss employment opportunities.
